In this course, we explore these and other questions, focusing on developing the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage change. Participants leave with an understanding of the tools required to analyse, scope, plan and implement change within a business context. Total Quality Management (TQM)
This course develops participants' knowledge of TQM, and demonstrates the importance of TQM in today's highly competitive world. Depending on your needs, the program focuses on either implementing TQM within the manufacturing sector, or Total Quality Services (TQS) within the services sector. |
Conflict Management
This course investigates potential causes of conflict within the workplace and how best to manage such conflict. The most common sources of conflict are discussed, and there is an emphasis on learning techniques proven to assist in conflict resolution. Creating Successful Teams
This course investigates the dynamics of teams in the workplace, considers how successful teams are formed, and discusses how leaders can create, nurture, and maintain high-performing teams. We teach practical methods for setting team goals, establishing performance measures, and working collaboratively to establish and maintain successful teams. Entrepreneurship
Designed to equip participants with a greater understanding of entrepreneurship, this course enhances awareness of the various opportunities available for self-employment, regardless of a participant's background. We focus on the processes involved in moving towards being self-employed and discuss the associated challenges and benefits. Improving Motivation and Performance
This course is designed to give participants a greater understanding of motivation theories, along with the skills and techniques necessary to maintain the motivation required to achieve goals. We consider the processes associated with the performance management cycle, including goal setting, work allocation, and performance reviews. The importance of high performance recognition is also considered, and ways to identify and manage poor performance are examined. There is a focus on practical techniques for motivating and managing both self-performance and team performance. |
