The issue of inadequate road safety is a global crisis that results in a catastrophic number of accidents, deaths, and injuries each year. The subsequent financial impact on the victims' families is particularly difficult for impoverished families in developing countries.
In these countries, where hospitals, emergency medical facilities, and first aid are often lacking, the costs of road accidents pose a major problem which can often be avoided.
The ACET-Global Road Safety Project is working to reduce the impact of transport-related accidents by making professionally-developed educational safety resources readily available.
By collaborating with local support groups, governments, and educational institutions, we are working to teach safe driving practices and spread awareness of general road safety strategies.
